Hello there,
I am trying to calculate the inductance of a simple model,
but all I get is the (R+jL) looks like:

Freq = 0.1
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 10
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 100
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1000
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 10000
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 100000
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+006
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+007
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+008
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+009
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+010
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+011
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj
Freq = 1e+012
Row 0: -1.#IND-1.#INDj

What is the reason for the #IND... instead of values?

Here is the model:
* Inductivity PCB
.units mm
.default sigma=5.8e4
.default nhinc=3
.default nwinc=3

******* Part A
NB1 x=27 y=0 z=0
NB2 x=27 y=-14 z=0
eBseg1 NB1 NB2 w=20 h=0.3

******* Part B
NC1a x=15 y=-20 z=0
NC2a x=37 y=-20 z=0
eBseg2a NC1a NC2a w=10 h=0.3

******* Part C
NE1 x=25.5 y=-26 z=0
NE2 x=25.5 y=-49 z=0
eBseg4 NE1 NE2 w=22 h=0.3

******* Contacts for Bondwire
NBW1 x=25 y=-9 z=-0.1
NBW2 x=32 y=-21 z=-0.1
NBW3 x=32 y=-31 z=-0.1
NBW4 x=25 y=-42 z=-0.1

NBW1o x=25 y=-9 z=5
NBW2o x=32 y=-21 z=5
NBW3o x=32 y=-31 z=5
NBW4o x=25 y=-42 z=5

******* Bondwire, vertical
EBW1 NBW1 NBW1o w=0.4 h=0.4
EBW2 NBW2 NBW2o w=0.4 h=0.4
EBW3 NBW3 NBW3o w=0.4 h=0.4
EBW4 NBW4 NBW4o w=0.4 h=0.4

******* Bondwire, horizontal
EBW1w NBW1o NBW4o w=0.4 h=0.4
EBW2w NBW2o NBW3o w=0.4 h=0.4

.external NC1a NB1

.freq fmin=1e-1 fmax=1e18 ndec=1

.end

The ports are at the upper end in the middle (NB1) and on the left hand side (NC1a). Does anyone see my mistake? I am new to this sort of simulation, would be nice if anyone helps. Thank you!

Hi. I received the same error. It probably is showing a connectivty error in your design. You would want all the nodes connected together in a single loop.

Found a geometry error and #INDs went away and now am getting good answer.

I just got the same thing after modifying my problem. Not sure why.
