Posted - Jul 10 2007 : 20:54:12 Is there a way in fasthenry to specifiy the permeability used in the calculations? Also can one set a different mu for different objects? For example can inductance be modeled when ferromagnetic materials are near by? |

Posted - Jul 16 2007 : 15:12:29 Current version of FastHenry2 does not manage permeability of material. You can specify sigma, the conductivity, or rho, the resistivity of a conductor, to model skin/proximity effects, but you cannot at present model ferromagnetic materials.
